I tend to do a lot of reading
about cosmology and evolution, always wondering about the visual aspects of
lifeforms in early stages of formation. Organics, which is an ongoing
series portraying primitive organisms in motion, originated while pondering
about whether "life imitates art" or "art imitates life." I wanted to emphasize
the oneness of life by depicting organisms utilizing another form of life as the
material--plant life depicting animals forms. |
